Book Club

by Raakin Iqbal

So I have decided this new segment on my blog called, “Raakin’s Book Club” and yes I did steal the idea from Oprah. I dont see why she can have a book club and I can’t. So to start with my 1st book recommendation, I shall say start reading the “Rich Dad and Poor Dad” Series. The series gives you great tips on ways how your attitude and strategy planning on your future investment portfolios.

The book is a true tale of two dads— one a highly educated professor, the other, an eighth grade dropout. Educated dad left his family with nothing, except maybe some unpaid bills. The dropout later became one of Hawaii’s richest men and left his son an empire. One dad would say, “I can’t afford it” while the other, asked, “How can I afford it?”
Rich dad teaches two boys priceless lessons on money, by making them learn through experience. The most important lesson of all is How to Use Your Mind and Time to create personal wealth. Free yourself from the proverbial “rat race”. Learn to spot opportunities, create solutions and “mind your own business”. Learn to make money work for you, and not be its slave.

So definitely, take a look into this one. In the mean time, I shall get ready for bed! its quite tiring when your figuring out how much will Visa extensions will cost and also watching “I am Legend”, not a bad movie… Anyways, talk to you all soon…
