I was on facebook about a few months ago and I ran into a student director based in Pakistan, Raza Shah. He was directing a student films called “Questions”. According to Suhaib Ahmad, one of the members behind the simple black and white documentary it Intended to highlight the dilemmas of our generation, this short-video is an assemblage of various people who voice their opinions on issues that matter to the youth. With different view-points, several voices pose a range of predicaments using mere placards with questions smeared on them with the intention to make a difference; a difference using expressions, rhetorics and the significance of the enigma delivered with determination. Shot at various locations in Islamabad (Pakistan), our main aim was to juxtapose the purpose of the questions delivered with the lifestyle presented by the youth to show an atmosphere similar to the actual conditions that exist in context to the situation. The youth that presents the question was charged with great determination and ambition to present to their fellow comrades, those dilemmas which are unanswered and ignored, but need a desperate response.
SO we approached him and said that we want to help distribute your video to major Pakistani channels. But when my business mentor viewed the video, she said that this video is fit perfectly with the American audience and how we should team up with an American distribution company and have it sent to all the major channels. So now I have no made it my personal objective and looking out for a reliable distribution company….
